After a lifetime of research on the African continent, traveling and studying the drum, and after several performances, Bruno Genèro offers an autobiographical artistic creation entitled EKÙN (“LEOPARD” in the Yoruba language).

The study of African music, dance, and culture, as well as personal creative experiences, led Bruno to a deep knowledge of himself and awakened in him the need to use the language of the drum as a means to build a musical/cultural bridge to contemporary Western expressiveness. It is for this reason that Bruno found the right partner in producer and DJ Alain Diamond, to whom he entrusted his personal baggage and experience in order to bring about the “transformation” and together create the music that is the foundation of the entire project.
